Samsung On7 prime has been launched in India, pricing, specifications

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy On7 Prime in India as its latest mid-range offering with an India-centric twist. This time round, it’s focusing on the introduction of a new platform called Samsung Mall. Samsung Mall is basically an e-commerce tool which lets users take photos of a product in the real world and then perform a Visual Search to find the item or similar products online. The platform doesn’t actually sell any goods right now, choosing to partner with sites like Shopclues, Amazon India, Tata CLiQ, and Jabong instead. Owners of the Galaxy On7 Prime can take advantage of a One-stop Shop tool which allows them to search for stuff across multiple outlets. There’s also a Universal Cart feature that lets them add items from various shopping sites and then review each in a single cart. Samsung is planning to charge Rs 12990 for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM variant of the phone. It’s upped the price to Rs 14990 for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM version. It’s also tied up with Reliance Jio to give a cashback of Rs 2000 in the form of JioMoney. Users will have to commit to recharges of Rs 299 for 24 months to be eligible for the scheme.
